To ensure that all data related to your identity, contact information, profile, and behavior within the Cekat.AI Service and data related to your personally identifiable information, whether directly or indirectly (“Personal Data”), is always protected when you access the Cekat.AI Service and/or use the features within it developed by PT Teknologi Cekat Indonesia (“Cekat.AI” or “We”), we are committed to protecting Personal Data as further outlined in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is a set of rules that forms an integral part of the Cekat.AI Terms of Service, established as the basis for all of our activities regarding the collection, processing, storage, display, dissemination, and destruction of Personal Data within the Cekat.AI Service. Definitions and terms beginning with capital letters found on the Cekat.AI Terms of Service page are deemed to have the same meaning and interpretation as the terms used in this Policy, unless otherwise specified in this Policy.
By accessing and/or using the Cekat.AI Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to Cekat.AI obtaining, collecting, storing, managing, and using your Personal Data as set forth herein, and you agree to be bound by all the terms of this Policy. Your Personal Data is very important to us, and you may withdraw your consent to the collection of Personal Data at any time. If you do not agree to this Policy, you are not permitted to access and/or use the Cekat.AI Services.
Subject to this Privacy Policy, you are also deemed to be bound by the Cekat.AI Terms and Conditions and/or the relevant terms and conditions of other Cekat.AI products or Services (as applicable). Under no circumstances shall the invalidity of Cekat.AI’s Terms and Conditions and/or the terms and conditions of other relevant Cekat.AI products or Services render this Privacy Policy invalid, unenforceable, and/or inapplicable.
Collection of Personal Data
1.1. When you access the Cekat.AI Service or use the Features available within the Cekat.AI Service, you are directly or indirectly providing Personal Data to us. For example, when you register by creating an Account on the Cekat.AI Service, we will collect and store your Personal Data, including your name, email address, password, and other data required for you to access your Account. In addition, we collect your Personal Data, among other times, when you:
• access the Cekat.AI Service and/or use its Features;
• register by creating an Account on the Cekat.AI Service;
• respond to surveys sent by us;
• submit your reviews, feedback, messages, criticism, and/or suggestions to us;
• contact us through the communication channels we provide;
• using Features that require access permissions on your device; or
• entering information related to Personal Data in any form into the Cekat.AI Service and/or Features.
1.2. The Personal Data we collect is the data that you have provided to us through the methods we have previously described. Such Personal Data includes, among other things:
• personal data regarding your personal information, including but not limited to your address, phone number, and email address;
• business entity data regarding your business entity, including but not limited to name, address, phone number, business entity deed, Business Entity Tax ID (NPWP), Business Identification Number (NIB), and other operational permits;
• your responses to the surveys we provide;
• actual or estimated location data such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, Wi-Fi locations, geolocation, and so on;
• data regarding the timing of each usage activity, including registration, login, and other activities;
• your usage data and/or preferences, including your interactions while using the Cekat.AI Service and the settings you have selected within the Cekat.AI Service;
• information regarding the software and hardware you use to access the Cekat.AI Service and/or use the Features;
• The Cekat.AI service collects and monitors specific information about your device, including your hardware model, operating system, and version, as well as user profile information to uniquely identify your device and ensure that unauthorized devices cannot act on your behalf, thereby preventing fraud. We do not collect any unique device identifiers such as IMEI or serial numbers;
• In connection with our role as a Personal Data Processor, we process your end-users’ contact information, which is specifically limited to names and phone numbers. The processing and/or storage of this data is carried out solely for the purpose of facilitating message delivery, operating the CRM features, and displaying communication history on the Cekat.AI Service dashboard in accordance with your instructions;
• log data, including records on the server receiving the data such as the device’s IP address, date and time of access, features or pages viewed on the Cekat.AI Service, application workflows, and other system activities;
• interactions, reviews, feedback, suggestions, and/or messages from you directed to us, including, but not limited to, anything you disclose when you contact us through the communication channels we provide or when we assist in resolving issues arising from your use of the Cekat.AI Service; and/or
• other actions you take within the Cekat.AI Service and/or Features, and other data you enter into the Cekat.AI Service and/or Features.
1.3. You hereby represent and warrant that the Personal Data you enter into the Cekat.AI Service and/or Features is correct, complete, accurate, and based on the true facts, and you are fully responsible for such Personal Data and have full authority and/or personal rights to provide Personal Data to us, including releasing us from any civil or criminal claims arising from the misuse of information and/or misleading information regarding the Personal Data you enter into the Cekat.AI Service and/or Features.
1.4. We reserve the right, from time to time, to request authentication, verification, and/or updates to your Personal Data to ensure that your data and information are accurate, complete, and up-to-date, including temporarily or permanently suspending your access or restricting your ability to fully utilize certain Features if you have not authenticated or updated your Personal Data.
1.5. By continuing to access the Cekat.AI Service, using the Features, and/or our other services, you hereby expressly consent to our collection and processing of your Personal Data as described in Sections 1.1 and 1.2 of this Policy; this consent is given voluntarily, with full capacity, and in a state of full awareness.
1.6. Specifically, in the context of using the Cekat.AI Service and/or Features that allow you to upload, manage, or send messages to your end users, our legal status is solely that of a Data Processor, which processes data based on your instructions. You act as the Data Controller. Therefore, you are obligated and fully responsible for ensuring that you have obtained valid consent from your end-users before processing their Personal Data through the Cekat.AI Service. You release us from any claims, demands, or fines arising from your end-users or competent authorities due to data processing violations committed by you.Use of Personal Data
2.1. We will use the Personal Data we have collected and obtained solely for your benefit, ours, and/or that of our partners and affiliates (including our partners who collaborate with us to provide Cekat.AI services), in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws in Indonesia. We may use such Personal Data for, among other things:
• process your data to fulfill your needs in accessing Cekat.AI Services and/or using Features;
• managing, operating, administering, and providing you with the services offered on the Cekat.AI Service;
• contacting you regarding matters related to your use of and/or access to the Cekat.AI Services and the Features available on the Cekat.AI Services;
• to communicate with you regarding your requests for feedback and suggestions;
• to provide you with information, insights, surveys, programs, or promotions that may be of interest to you;
2.2. Development of Cekat.AI Services and/or Features to improve our services, including using the information obtained for research, analysis, development, and testing purposes, as well as product launches to enhance your security and convenience in accessing and using Cekat.AI Services, services, and/or Features, and to develop and/or launch new services, Features, and/or products;
• business development, services, Features, new products, and/or marketing strategies;
• measuring and improving the user experience and satisfaction with Cekat.AI Services;
• to assist you when submitting reports to us regarding your use of the Cekat.AI Service through the communication channels we provide;
• enforce and implement the provisions of the Cekat.AI Terms of Service;
• resolving complaints we receive and addressing issues related to the Cekat.AI Service and/or the Cekat.AI Service being used; and/or
• for other purposes notified to you at the time of collection of Personal Data or other purposes provided that such use is in accordance with Applicable Law.
2.3. You hereby acknowledge that the use of Features within the Cekat.AI Service requires the authentication, verification, and/or updating of your Personal Data. By continuing to access the Cekat.AI Service, using the Features, and/or our other services, you hereby expressly consent to the use, utilization, and/or disclosure of your Personal Data, and declare that your consent to the use and disclosure of Personal Data for such purposes is given voluntarily, in a competent state, and with full awareness.Sharing of Personal Data with Third Parties
3.1. We respect the confidentiality of your Personal Data and are committed to not selling, renting, displaying, or disclosing your Personal Data without your consent, unless otherwise specified in this Policy. We will only disclose your Personal Data to third parties with your consent.
3.2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.1 above, by continuing to access the Cekat.AI Service and using the services, Features, and/or other products, you hereby expressly consent in any form to the disclosure of your Personal Data and authorize us to provide access to, disclose, and transmit such Personal Data to selected third parties that assist and/or collaborate with us in providing, Features, and/or products to you (“Selected Third Parties”), and you release Us from any liability for any loss or damage arising from the Selected Third Parties’ failure to secure your Personal Data. You fully acknowledge that this consent is given voluntarily, in a competent state, and with full awareness.
3.3. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Selected Third Parties we work with maintain adequate data protection standards. However, you understand that any further processing by such Selected Third Parties will also be subject to each entity’s respective privacy policies. We recommend that you review the privacy policies of the relevant third parties (such as Meta/WhatsApp or OpenAI) to understand their specific terms regarding the handling of your Personal Data.
3.4. We are authorized to disclose your Personal Data to comply with court orders, other competent authorities, or as required by Applicable Law. Where possible and permitted under Applicable Law, we will notify you if we disclose your Personal Data. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.1 above, by continuing to access the Cekat.AI Service and using our Features and other services, you hereby directly consent in any form to the disclosure of your Personal Data and authorize us to provide access to, disclose, and transmit such Personal Data to competent authorities in Indonesia.
3.5. You understand and agree that, in order to develop the Cekat.AI Service, we may use and share your data and information that does not identify you individually, including for processing, development, and collaboration with Selected Third Parties or other third parties. We respect your privacy, so the data and information we may use and share is aggregated data that does not identify you individually.
3.6. For the purposes of providing and operating the Cekat.AI Service (including, but not limited to, processing through integrations with Cekat.AI Partners such as the Meta/WhatsApp system and OpenAI technology), the Personal Data collected may be transferred, transmitted, stored, and/or processed on servers or by third parties located outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. In conducting such cross-border transfers, we always strive to ensure that the receiving country or third party has a level of Personal Data protection that is equivalent to, higher than, or at least provides adequate protection as required by Applicable Law in Indonesia.Use of Cookies and Third-Party Services
4.1. Cookies are text files placed on your computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies to help us improve your experience when accessing our Cekat.AI Services.
4.2. Cookies will record your Personal Data, such as the data you enter into the Cekat.AI Service. For example, if you create an account within the Cekat.AI Service, cookies will help us remember your specific Personal Data for your next visit. When you return to the Cekat.AI Service, the Personal Data you previously provided will be displayed again, so enabling cookies will make it easier for you to access the Cekat.AI Service.
4.3. You can choose to disable cookies in your browser either partially or entirely; however, if you disable all cookies (including essential cookies), you may not be able to access all or part of the Cekat.AI Services and/or Features.

4.5. We reserve the right to use third-party services to analyze Personal Data on our behalf, such as Google Analytics and other third-party services intended to improve the Cekat.AI Service and its Features. These third-party services include, among other things, the collection of data regarding your visits and activities while accessing the Cekat.AI Service and using its Features.Your Choices and Transparency
5.1. In accordance with Indonesian personal data protection laws and regulations, we respect your rights regarding your Personal Data, which include:
• The right to access, view, modify, or update your Personal Data stored in our system;
• The right to stop, suspend, or restrict the processing of your Personal Data in a proportionate manner (including stopping marketing or promotional notifications);
• The right to revoke or withdraw your previously given consent to the processing of your Personal Data;
• The right to request the deletion and/or destruction of your Personal Data from our systems (Right to be Forgotten); and
• The right to obtain and/or use your Personal Data from us in a form that is compatible with commonly used structures and/or formats (Right to Data Portability).
5.2. You may exercise these rights by contacting us through the communication channels listed in this Policy. However, you understand that withdrawing your consent or deleting your data may result in the restriction or termination of your access to the Cekat.AI Service.Storage and Deletion
6.1. Your Personal Data that you enter into the Cekat.AI Service or that we obtain pursuant to Article 1 of this Policy will be stored using security procedures and measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations for the period specified in such laws and regulations under the Laws of Indonesia.
6.2. If you wish to close your Account on the Cekat.AI Service, you may submit a request to close your Account by sending a written request to us via the communication channels listed in this Policy (e.g., via email), including the reason for closure. We will process your request after completing the necessary security verification steps. If your Account is closed, you expressly acknowledge that you will no longer be able to use Cekat.AI’s Features and Services. Please be aware that even though your Account has been closed and you are no longer an active User, we may continue to retain certain Personal Data and your transaction history with limited access for a specific period of time, solely to fulfill data retention obligations as required by applicable laws and regulations.
6.3. We reserve the right to suspend your Account in accordance with our Terms of Service, pursuant to a court order or ruling, and/or in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We will notify you via email regarding the suspension of your Account based on this authority.
6.4. We have the authority to delete your Personal Data upon your written request or in accordance with our policies, in the manner we determine, while remaining subject to the applicable laws of Indonesia.Limitation of Liability
7.1. You are responsible for the security of your Personal Data and for implementing appropriate security measures to protect it, such as restricting access, creating strong passwords, safeguarding your passwords, updating your passwords from time to time (as necessary), and/or safeguarding your One-Time Password (OTP).
7.2. We are not responsible for the sharing and/or disclosure of your Personal Data that you undertake yourself, including through the Cekat.AI Service.
7.3. We are only responsible for the protection and security of your Personal Data to the extent that such Personal Data is stored in systems developed and managed by us, and we will at all times take all reasonable steps necessary to safeguard and protect your Personal Data. By continuing to access the Cekat.AI Service, using the Features, and/or our other services, you waive any rights to claims, losses, demands, and lawsuits you may have in the event of a failure to protect Personal Data arising from negligence on your part in maintaining the security and confidentiality of Personal Data and/or as a result of actions by third parties attempting to obtain Personal Data unlawfully.
7.4. We are not responsible for the authenticity, validity, truthfulness, accuracy, and/or completeness of the Personal Data you provide.
7.5. Although we have implemented reasonable industry-standard security measures, the system is not immune to the risk of data breaches. In the event of a failure to protect Personal Data (data breach) that is solely under the control of our system, we are committed to providing written notification to you and/or the relevant authorities no later than 3x24 (three times twenty-four) hours after we become aware of such failure, in accordance with the provisions of applicable personal data protection laws and regulations.Miscellaneous
8.1. We always strive to provide you with the best possible service when accessing the Cekat.AI Service or using our Features; therefore, we reserve the right to make changes to this Policy to align with business developments and applicable legal requirements. Changes to this Policy will be posted on the Cekat.AI Service from time to time so that you may review them. If changes to this Policy are material with respect to personal data and information on the Cekat.AI Service, we will notify you no later than 30 (thirty) business days prior to the effective date of such changes or within another timeframe as permitted by applicable laws and regulations (“Notice Period”). If you do not agree with the changes to the Policy proposed by Cekat.AI, you may file an objection and have the right to close your Account during the Notice Period. If you do not file an objection to the changes to the Policy proposed by Cekat.AI during the Notice Period, Cekat.AI reserves the right to consider that you have agreed to such changes, and you will be bound by all changes established by Cekat.AI.
8.2. If any provision or part of this Policy is unlawful, unenforceable, or becomes invalid, such provision or part shall be deemed severed from this Policy, and we will amend such provision so that it is enforceable, provided that the remaining provisions of this Policy shall remain in full force and effect.
8.3. In the event of a change in control or ownership of all or part of our business, including the Cekat.AI Service, in connection with a merger, consolidation, acquisition, joint venture, transfer, bankruptcy, and/or other corporate action, your Personal Data may become part of the transfer pursuant to such corporate action.
8.4. This Policy may be translated into languages other than Indonesian provided by us. It is possible that certain sections of this Policy may have different meanings, intentions, or interpretations when translated into other languages. In the event of any discrepancy between the Indonesian version and the foreign-language version, the Indonesian version shall prevail, and you are advised to refer to the Indonesian version.Contact Us

Therefore, you release us from any civil or criminal claims arising from your failure and/or negligence in submitting questions, feedback, complaints, or grievances regarding Personal Data as set forth in this Policy.
